One year 3 months, and 22 days since inception it’s time to jump off the deep end.. Bold as I am, plunging into cold water is not me… acclimating is the key…Japan is the perfect warm shallow starting place into my year long immersion of Southeast Asia. My affair with Japan started 2 years ago on our first date in August of 2023. It was love at first sight.
Falling into the big, beautiful bosom of Tokyo is the perfect soft landing I need… Although I opt to stay in different parts of her large anatomy this go around, I’m enveloped by her comforting arms as I revel in her welcoming embrace. My road to getting back to her has not exactly gone as smooth as I’d like but such is life.. life is fickle.. Life does life.. more about this later.. I’ve arrived.. I am here!!!!
Walking though customs, I feel so seasoned, so world traveled, so at home.. I avoid all contact with anyone who I believe to be American.. This is my special secret journey and I want to keep it that way. I left the US to experience every new culture with open ears, eyes, taste buds, and hair folicals .. I do not feel the need to commingle with my ‘tribe.’ I am a tribe less entity moving forward..
I am constantly amused, entertained, enthralled by the day to day articles of different places.. You will see many photos of just such things.. If a travel blog, beautiful photos of beautiful people spending tons of money influencer page, life is fabulous and don’t you wish you were me postings is what you are expecting, looking for or are interested in, this will not appeal to you… However, if you want an honest, funny, life as I live it kind of a read I’m pretty sure you’ll find most of my blog entertaining, heartfelt, insightful and just an overall fun ride.
